This blog is about gardening. It’s about growing, picking and arranging flowers to enjoy in the house.
I garden in North Wales. It’s a decent sized garden (but not huge) and it’s shadier than I’d like (we have two mature trees with tree preservation orders). And I enjoy growing fruit and veggies too – we have a couple of miniature apple and plum trees plus a cherry. Oh and I always try to squeeze some runner beans, tomato and cucumber plants and salad leaves into the growing space too.
But flowers bring me the most joy. I love seeing them in the borders and being greeted by cheery pots when I come home. I also pay attention to what you can see from the windows – especially that moment when you open the curtains in the morning. And I love flowers in the house, where you can really appreciate the forms, colours and scents up close.
